О себе
Hard working and physically active man of varied interests, including art, music, and sport. Communicates with an open heart and willing to take ridiculous risks for love. Wiser for experience and desiring marriage and a family. Love languages are quality time, service, and touch. Somewhat introverted, rarely a center of attention, but fun and relaxed in social times. Happiest at home or playing outside, and often goofy early in the morning.
I want to create a loving relationship with one woman who knows her worth, sees relationship as bonus to an otherwise complete and happy life, and shares mutual interests and appetites—a compatible equal.
I have a purpose to improve humanity’s relationship with planetary ecology and to improve the resilience of civilization and ecosystems to climate change. After a 15-year career as a practicing scientist, I started law school, and will graduate in 2024. It’s important that I do exceptionally well in school, and I need my partner to be supportive of that non-negotiable fact. I am not and never will be wealthy, but will earn enough to comfortably provide for my family and to own property someplace quiet and beautiful.
There are breaks in my schedule, and I do fun stuff in manageable slices, including backcountry river trips, global travel, and nights out to see concerts, theater, and movies (Everything Everywhere All at Once is a favorite, oh my gosh, I was astonished by how much I enjoyed it).
My “bucket list” of things do to include another total solar eclipse, rafting the Colorado River at Grand Canyon, seeing the Aurora Borealis, a theater tour (plays, ballet, opera) in Europe, and return trips to Central America and Southeast Asia.

The woman with whom I want to spend my life possesses healthy senses of humor and adventure. She is interested in exploring new places and acquiring experience and knowledge. She can laugh at herself, and often will laugh at me, not because I'm funny, but because I'm flawed. She also shares my intention to make a safe and beautiful home together. Above all, she wants to create intimacy, trust, and solidarity on a level that only exists at home. In other words, it's us against the world, no matter what.
