My name is Martin, I'm a widower with one child, I am proud of who I am and what I have done. I try to live my life courageously with love, laughter, passion, confidence, spirit, and balance. A collection of life experiences gives me inner strength. I am usually always smiling. I love to laugh and make others laugh. My sense of humor ranges from sarcastic to silly. I love to look for the jokes inside life's little curve balls. I am primarily an optimist but not without a healthy dose of realism. I have a playful, flirty personality. I'm a great listener. People are usually surprised by how quickly they open up to me. I am extremely patient, sympathetic, and understanding. When asked for my opinion, I will always tell you the truth. I try to remain objective and respectful of differences but will not compromise my own values. I have strong ties to friends and family. My circle is not large but I deeply value the people in it. I try and enjoy life to the fullest

Not the perfect woman, but the woman who is perfect for me. Strong, quietly confident in who she is, who lives the right life, with good manners and common decency. Someone who is confident enough to see strength in the vulnerability of loving, passionate, and sensual, and who yearns to cherish and protect those she loves. She must know what she wants and be unafraid to take the risk when she finds it - no matter what hurdles might be perceived to be in her way. She must make me believe once again that love conquers all and that in the tender circle of her arms, I'll find safety and desire.
