我眼中的自己

I spend my days rescuing kittens from trees, lost puppies and helping ducklings cross the road safely. At night I like to help the elderly - sometimes collecting their groceries for them, sometimes helping them find their lost dentures but mostly cleaning and dusting - being tall-ish I can reach places they cant. Plus who doesn’t love a man in uniform and what better uniform is there than a French maid outfit? The stockings look great and are great at covering up my varicose veins.

Obviously, I'm joking, but when I'm not joking I am very honest. I know everyone says that, time will tell. Not brutally honest though. Theres a difference.

Many people have either described or told me that I am loyal to a fault. I don’t know if that is true but it does take a lot for me to give up on someone and far far more on my partner.

I have had 3 partners and 3 long term relationships since I was 17. I was faithful to all of them even though the first one (13 years) didn’t deserve it. She had a habit of finding banana peals every where she went and always slipped and landed on a penis. I don’t plan to change that quality now.

I did not believe in soul mates, true love, or love at first sight. I do now as I have experienced it and that is both the greatest gift I have received in this world and now my greatest curse. Cancer took my wife from me otherwise I wouldn’t be here.

I didn’t know the difference between a Queen and Princess until my wife told me when we met and then demonstrated for the almost 9 years we had. A princess gets her self-worth from the outside, from others, from objects and needs someone to look after her, dote on her whilst giving little or nothing in return. A queen on the other hand knows her own self worth and her kings. A queen has self respect, loyalty, dignity and integrity and navigates life with her king.

That doesn’t mean you wont receive nice things, gifts, expensive items or be treated amazingly - like a queen. It means you don’t need those things, don’t expect them and don’t ask for them and for those reasons you will receive them whenever possible. Maybe a Versace jacket for Christmas, Alexander McQueen handbag for a birthday, Demeulemeester shoes for an anniversary or your favourite perfume, book, chocolates, flowers or champagne on a Wednesday just because you’re awesome. Perhaps those are oddly specific examples, but they are tings I can remember buying at the moment.

I could write so much more and paint a better picture but i will try to finish of with a bit of a story.

Before I met my wife she was married (9 years roughly) to pretty descent guy. They were both working but her pay went into his account. We jokingly called him the fat controller. The "straw that broke the camels" back for her to leave him was $50! Its along story but in short - they had a wedding to go to on the beach and she needed $50 to buy a pair of shoes. He wouldn’t give it to her because she could wear her thongs. When the 2 of us met, for a few years, we were both unemployed before starting our small business. We went out one night with $20 on her and I had nothing at the time and neither had anything in our accounts. We just went for a long walk in the city and bumped into a homeless girl on her own. My wife (girlfriend at the time) asked if it was ok to give the $20 to her and I said yes. When I asked her why she gave her last 20 she replied "because she needs it more than we do, we have each other she has nothing". True story, 1 of many.

On a lighter note:
I have varied interests and hobbies, everything from walking, hiking, fishing, camping, gardening, reading and tv to music festivals, local gigs and taking my motorbike out for a cruise. I like most music but I’m partial to hard rock, metal and techno and not so keen on country & western or Jazz.

Whilst I don’t like people judging me on my appearance and I don’t judge others based on appearance obviously it would be nice for there to be a mutual attraction. I do love tattoos although that’s not a necessity.

I think for now, that should give you and idea of what I'm like and the sort of person I would appreciate. If you think that might be you....id like to hear from you.
