Hello! I’m a 24-year-old PhD graduate student deeply immersed in American Studies, focusing on the histories of Black and Indigenous peoples in the Americas. My heritage is a blend of African-American, Cape Verdean, and Wampanoag, and I hail from the scenic Cape Cod, MA.
I’m passionate about my studies, but I balance this with a love for travel and community-based research projects. I’m also a language enthusiast, always eager to learn and communicate in new languages. My interests range from Anime and Manga to the expansive universes of Star Wars and Marvel.
In my downtime, you’ll find me with a good book, enjoying the great outdoors, or spending quality time with my large and loving family and friends. I’m quirky and fun-loving, but I take my work and responsibilities seriously.
